Hey! I am Ziyang, a film student currently studying in Concordia University. I graduated in the "Communication" program at Vanier College, where I touched many mediums of art such as photography, digital design, drawing. video production and film studies. Outside of school, I also have my RCM grade 9 on piano and only recently, I am learning martial arts, particularly Wushu and Yip Man's lineage of Ving Tsun. In the near future, I intend to go career in film industries, hopefully being part of productions that will deal with action films. Once I get wealthy enough and have enough professional experience, I hope to direct my own action films as well.

My influences are very diverse. Western directors like Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Guillermo del Toro, Alfred Hitchcock, Charles Chaplin all inspire me in their own particular way as film directors. Among Asian directors, my list can go on even longer. Wilson Yip (Ip Man), Kelvin Tong (Rule #1, The Maid), Kinji Fukasaku (Battle Royale), Park Chan-Wook (Oldboy), Kim Jee-Woon (A Tale of Two Sisters), Nobuhiko Obayashi (Hausu), John Woo (Once a Thief), Dennis Law (Fatal Contact) are just a few to name of. My interest is to make films that can be dark in tone, stories on antiheroes or people we consider as evils of society, heavy in psychology, action, perhaps horror too, controversial and humanistic.
